Ball Parks 4 Him is a 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable foundation in memory of Zachary Siegfried . Our goal is to assist in the financial needs of children ranging in age from 5-18 who have a desire to play sports and have a financial hardship. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to play sports no matter the ability to pay.
Recently, Ball Parks 4 Him helped a 9 year old boy Tyler Jacques get a prosthetic glove. We are still interested in helping him get a prosthetic sports leg. Tyler has the dream of playing baseball just like other 9 year old boy, despite his deformed right hand and prosthetic leg. I have been told that the cost of an average prosthetic sports leg is $13,000. We believe that with prayer we can achieve his dream. Ball Parks 4 Him worked with Hanger Prosthetics to get a special glove made for Tyler that will enable him to catch a ball firmly in his right hand and throw with his left. Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics is experiemented to make a glove that fits Tyler, well like a glove and allow him to grip the ball firmly despite the smaller than normal digits on his right hand. Ball Parks 4 Him believes in the children/youth and wanted to do something to make a difference in their lives. We believe in people’s ability to reach the next level, in people’s ability to push themselves beyond what is expected.
We believe that desire, commitment, hard work and intensity combined with quality sport specific training can ultimately bridge the gap between potential and true performance. It is our primary goal to assist individual children in becoming better athletes by helping them with their financial needs. Finally, we believe that athletics can help every young child to become a better person by providing them with important life skills and tools that they will find necessary in fulfilling their future dreams and goals.
